turned around

The other day a stranger e-mailed me. His name was Noe Vallavolid, and he asked me for an interview. Given that my entire career depends on people talking to me, I feel obliged when asked to do the same, not that those offers come around very often.

Noe it turns out is a soccer fan in a gamer’s world, and runs the blog over at 1UP, which he infuses with
soccer from time to time. He published our conversation today, and I figured I’d share it here. It works as a good primer as we begin to look back on the year that was.

Much thanks to Noe for asking me to join him and for making this photo look better than it originally was when I took it in Portsmouth. He’s an illustrator, and also created the banner image above. Hopefully I can talk him into continuing to contribute art to TIAS.

Adam, thanks for the interview. I don’t think you’ll have to twist my arm for the art. I’ve got a few things up my sleeve…
